Gaming Collections

Post by Mako Mankanshoku on Tue Mar 04, 2014 8:26 pm

I noticed a thread for collections of anime merchandise over on that board, and I thought it'd be awesome to have some discussion about it here. Partly because I don't really collect anime stuff, though I do have a decent amount of cool junk, but I definitely collect games.

I don't really have a good camera at the moment, but I'll probably find a way to show some of it off later, but I currently have games for Nintendo, Famicom, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS, PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Genesis, Dreamcast, Game Gear, Atari 7800 and PC. What I really need in life is a boxed copy of Live A Live though ;-;.

My biggest priority is to buff up the libraries that I've already started. Some of the ones I mention here are actually extremely thin. Extra controllers for some consoles too. N64 is a party console, man. Once I do that to satisfactory degree, though, I primarily want a Sega Saturn, a GBA Micro and an Xbox. Maybe a Coleco Vision too.

I like the idea of having somewhere to show off your gaming collection. I'll have to see about digging out my collection some time. For now I can say I have some PS1, PS2, a small amount of PS3, gamecube, Wii, GBA, GB, DS and PSP games.

Do you mind if I post my brother's game collection here? I doubt he will use these forums. His game collection is enormous, and mine is not so impressive. Razz

Before I post my gaming collection. How are we supposed to do it exactly? Do we just list them by system?

I'm not any sort of authority here. Do it however you want.

If I ever post pictures, I'd probably try to do it by system, and when I can include pictures of systems themselves, I would. When I do it I might just show some of the stuff I'm more proud of and not all of my games.
